We have many years of experience in shipping trucks and equipment throughout the world, last year (2021) we exported over 200 trucks to Africa and Eastern Europe as well as some south American countries.
At Thomas Trucks we deal direct with the shipping lines to try and offer the best rate available for getting your new purchase to your country as cheap as possible.
We are happy to offer shipping quotes of any of our vehicles from any UK Port and we guarantee we will get back to within 15 Minutes of making an enquiry with shipping prices.
INSPECTIONS
We can arrange and welcome all relevant inspections on vehicles with the approved companies.
LOADING & DELIVERY
We offer loading for your new truck i.e.: cars vans, additional trucks and spares onto your new purchase. Below is our price guide for loading all prices include strapping and lashing.
Loading Car/4x4 into a Box, Flatbed/Dropside, Steel Body Tipper £200.00
Loading Van that is loaded ( over 3500 KG) into the above £350.00
Loading Additional Trucks onto a Flatbed or Trailer £450.00 per vehicle
Loading Spares, Wheels and Tyres and Misc please call for prices.
DUE TO THE INCREASE IN FUEL COSTS OUR DELIVERY PRICES HAVE INCREASED AS OF 1ST APRIL 2022
Delivery can be arranged to any port in the UK, we are based 1 mile from Sheerness Port and delivery is FREE to this port. however if you require your vehicle to be shipped from another port below are the approx. prices.

How It Works
- Call, Email or What's App message us regarding the vehicle you have selected, we can then give you information on loading, shipping and any other additional pictures or videos of the vehicle you would like to purchase
- After we have agreed the vehicle price and shipping information we will send you a proforma invoice with all vehicle details, our details and bank details for you to arrange a deposit or full payment to be made.
- As soon as your truck leaves the UK we will send you a shipped on board confirmation and approx. one week into sailing we send you all the documents ( V5 Registration Document and Bill of Lading) by DHL to the address you provide us and we will supply you with the tracking number.
- Once your truck arrives in the destined port you will need to arrange custom clearance and collection of your vehicle, we will help you with this by supplying you with a clearing agent or you can use one you know of.
PLEASE NOTE WE WILL ALLOW UPTO 30 DAYS FROM PROFORMA INVOICE DATE TO HOLD YOUR VEHICLE

Time limits for exporting and obtaining evidence
As stated above we allow 30 Days from Proforma Invoice for the vehicle to be paid and to get shipping arranged if this exceeds this there will be a storage charge of £95 per week until the vehicle is paid in full and shipping booked.
You must export the vehicle and get valid evidence of export (unless we are arranging the shipment) within the time limits shown below. In all cases the time limits are triggered by the time of supply
If you have not exported the vehicle within the time limits, or do not hold the necessary evidence to show that the vehicle has been physically exported, then VAT will have to be charged at the current rate of 20%.
